Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer)

Position Overview

Express Imaging HTX is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer) to perform high-quality imaging of organs and tissues. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, hands-on experience with ultrasound equipment, and a patient-focused approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic scans (abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and more)
  • Prepare and position patients for exams
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
  • Review images and collaborate with physicians for accurate diagnoses
  • Document images and patient information accurately
  • Ensure patient comfort and follow safety protocols
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and assist with clinical support as needed

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program
  • State licensure and certification in sonography (as required)
  • Clinical ultrasound experience preferred
  • Proficiency in operating ultrasound machines and interpreting images
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
